Put yourself in uncomfortable spots
The only place you progress you from is when you are down.
When you are at the top of the summit, the only place to go is down.
But when you are at the rock bottom, the only place to go is upwards.
Embrace situations where your back is on the wall with no options left. Your brain enters creative mode and you work the hardest you can to get out of the said situation.
Often, such situations are for our own good, but we only realise it in hindsight.
That business that didn’t work out? You will find out it was not worth it in the first place.
That job you didn't get? Turns out it was a toxic workplace.
That exam you didn’t clear? You would have sucked in that career anyway.
The universe works in funny ways, you will often not get what you desperately want.
But another door will open up that would be much better than the only you so deeply desired.
