It’s been a while since I shared an update. I’m in more of a “learning mode” lately, and here are some books I’ve read recently.
Poor Charlie’s Almanac - This is one of the few books that actually has original insights in it. Munger was a genius, and it’s a no brainer to read this one. It’s as much life advice as it is investing advice.
Leo Tolstoy’s short stories - I’ve been planning to read more fiction of late, but I do not like long readings. These stories are short but quite deep and depict old Russia really well! Good life lessons in there too.
The Intelligent Investor - I had read this book earlier, but I took a much deeper dive this time. I’ve learned so much, it’s highly recommended. Tough read though!
The Great Gatsby - Admittedly, I watched the movie - but it’s a great piece of content in either book or film format. Themes on consumerism, hollow modern life, and moving on from the past are nicely put.
Little Book of Common Sense Investing - One of the easiest books to read, very precise and informative. Beginner friendly.
That will be it for today, I will share more books and my learning as I read them.
What are you learning right now? Happy to hear your life updates as a reply to this email!
