Stop minding the small stuff
Focus on the bigger picture
Wherever you are in life, it pays well to think how you can elevate to a 10 times better position.
How you can be 10 times better in your studies (if you get rank 10000, think how you can go to rank 1000).
How you can be 10 times better in your skillset (the elusive “10x engineer”)
How you can earn 10 times more (if you make 50k/month, how could you make 5 lakh/month - up-skilling, change of job, growing your business, etc).
I rarely see people think along these lines.
They care about the small stuff like 1% or 5% improvement.
Spending hours looking for some cashback scheme to save 2%, while if they spent that time on learning something new or starting some new venture they could see 200% growth.
Spending time trying to get 1 or 2 extra marks in their tests by arguing with the professor or teacher, instead of simply studying better and getting more marks.
This is a very limited and short sighted mindset, and you will limit your growth.
Always look at the bigger picture, try to improve 10x and not 10%.
